What temperature setting do you set your heatpump to?

I’ve just had heatpumps installed in my house and now I wonder what temperature to set them to.
Obviously, I like it nice and warm, and the company has been raving to me about how efficient these things are, so I’m tempted to use them at a pretty high setting.

Does anyone know though what the wisest temperature to choose is?

About 21deg Is a good moderate heat. When I first got mine Installed It was In mid winter, I had It set at the highest setting(30 deg). Though It kept the house very warm my power bill shot up by $200 for the month. This was with It going night and day.

  2. Hi Really depends on how well your house is insulated. I like 72 a little cool , 74 is to hot for me. Having a Heat pump takes getting use to , it’s not like forced air heat.

    Es gibt drei Arten von Wärmepumpen.
    Luft/Wasser Wärmepumpe
    Sole/Wasser- Wärmepumpe
    Wasser/Wasser- Wärmepumpe
    Ein Wirkungsgrad liegt stets unter 100%. Mit über 90% erreicht ein Brennwertkessel einen hohen Wert. Bei einer Wärmepumpe sagt die Leistungszahl aus, wieviel Wärme diese aus 1 kWh elektrischen Strom erzeugen kann. Bei einer Leistungszahl "3" sind das immerhin 3 kWh Wärme, ein Tauchsieder erzeugt damit nur 1 kWh Wärme!
